Kevin Bidner, President and CEO

Kevin Bidner is a serial entrepreneur with major achievements in the technology industry. As a key leader and partner in 20-20 Technologies for 16 years, Mr. Bidner’s leadership helped bring 20-20 Technologies to its present world-leading position, with a 95% marketshare in the interior design industries, including Kitchen , Residential and Commercial design. Mr. Bidner joined HCN as CEO in 2008, as a founding partner contributing seed capital and pioneering the concept from its pilot projects in Toronto.


Barry Brisco, Chairman and COO

Mr. Brisco is a serial entrepreneur and twenty-year veteran of the “interactive services” industry, an early innovator of e-commerce applications. Mr. Brisco has successfully managed, developed and delivered a broad range of key component technology solutions for clients including AT&T, Bell Canada, GTE, Korea Telephone, Nynex and Panasonic. Mr. Brisco is a founding partner of HCN, and the originator and architect of key product design and technology concepts incorporated in today’s HCN platform solutions. He has been a significant funding investor who has brought the HCN opportunity to this stage of its development. Mr. Brisco is a Magna Cum Laude, Honors B. Com graduate from the University of Ottawa with majors in Accounting, Marketing and Finance.


Richard Carruthers, Executive Vice President

Mr. Carruthers joined HCN in January 2009 and took on a key role in the executive team as the company entered a key phase of business development and execution. Mr. Carruthers served as Vice President of Commercial Business Development at 2020 Technologies, a leading Canadian technology company. Prior to 2020, Mr. Carruthers was President of Facet, Inc. the North American leader in office software technologies. Mr. Carruthers has successfully employed his strong entrepreneurial skills to market new concepts and develop new international and domestic markets for both small and large businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Concordia in Montreal.


Steve Brinn, Vice President Hospitality Marketing

The career of Mr. Brinn includes numerous sales, marketing , and operational leadership experiences in the hospitality industry. He began his career in Boston in sales with the Sheraton Hotel Corporation, followed by fifteen years with the Marriott brand, including the openings of three Marriott Hotels. During that time Mr. Brinn received six awards for outstanding achievement in Marriott marketing within the Hotels and Resorts Division. Most recently before joining HCN, Mr. Brinn was an area director of marketing and then regional director of marketing for InterContinental Hotels management and franchise organizations. Mr. Brinn is a graduate of Brown University, where he also received his commission in the United States Navy; he served for four years, including two deployments with the Seventh Fleet in the Pacific, and one tour in the Mediterranean on the staff of the Admiral of the Sixth Fleet.


Margit Leger, Vice President Business Development

Margit Leger is an accomplished executive with domestic and international experience in operations, P&L oversight, multi-channel product distribution and marketing, involving both start-up and growth organizations. A results-oriented, decisive leader with proven success in new market identification and strategic market positioning, she has a great depth of experience in telecommunications, software and web-based technologies. As the founder and CEO of Impact I.S., Inc., she created the leading provider of business management and accounting software to the U.S. interior design industry, building a recognized brand and blue chip accounts in the global luxury lifestyle market.
